Rules:

1. Participants will receive 10kg of
   green coffee beans chosen
   by the organizer.
2. Participants will use Giesen 15WA Roaster to perform their coffee profile.
3. No assistance will be allowed during the competition.
4. Roasters must complete the profile within 30 minutes.
5. Participants must be present at the assigned roasting time slot; any absentee will be disqualified.
6. Participation in non-transferable.

Winner Selection

1. On the 24th of October, a panel of expert judges will taste and evaluate the coffee profiles on a knockout basis. Time to be announced closer to the event.
2. The winner will be selected based on overall quality and creativity of the roast profile.

Participants Benefits:

1. Each contester roasted beans will be packed in 30 personalized and numbered (1/30) 250g pouches.
2. These coffees will be available for purchase on Roasteria website. (Winner coffee retail price is 123 AED/250g pouch / Others coffees retail price is 84 AED/250g pouch).
3. Participants will receive 20% of their respective coffee sales revenues.
4. Sales revenues will be distributed upon the liquidation of stocks.

Prizes:

• The winner will receive a 5-day all-inclusive trip to Ethiopia, organized by the coffee producer, valued at 6,400 AED. The trip will provide an
  immersive experience in the Ethiopian coffee industry.

Participation Fee:

• The participation fee is 420 AED + VAT per participant.
• The fee covers the cost of participation and the green coffee beans.
